The IWC Portuguese line, perhaps one of the most popular collection line ever produced in the IWC history, comes in a total of 5 different variations, all of IWC Portuguese Chronograph watches are mechanical chronograph movement, with precise timekeeping and such sleek design, this classy gentleman masterpiece is definitely worth the purchase.
The dial colour is actually black, it looks a little bluish black under certain light intensity and angles, which is the beauty of this watch. A classic looking watch with Roman numeral hour markers and retro hands along with a moon-phase indicator that illustrates the illuminated portion of the moon, as seen from Earth. For such a beauty, what more can you ask for?
The Portuguese Automatic series with Arabic numerals give the dial the classic appeal of the first Portuguese watches of the 1930s. Out of the 5 different variations of Portuguese Automatic models, the steel blue one stands out the most for me personally, it not only brings out the a sense of elegance but also a sense of secrecy when the steel blue changes its colour tone under different light and angles.
IWC now offers a diverse range of Pilot’s watches but this one caught my attention in particular. I would say, this is not the best illustration of the real watch itself, the IW377740 IWC Pilot’s Chronograph looks totally stunning in reality, with mechanical chronograph movement, 44-hour power reserve and stopwatch functions. This watch definitely excels in function, design and quality.
Three Hands, One Concept is the slogan for IWC Portofino collection line. The IW356501 success has been its classic simplicity with three hands and a discreet date display along with the highest quality mechanical automatic movement, this masterpiece is indeed a killer in both performance and design. It has 6 different variations in this series.
