Panerai Watch Reviews and Recommendations
Top 5 Panerai Watches
Requested by actor Sylvester Stallone for his 1995 film “Daylight”, the PAM00356 Panerai Luminor automatic mechanical movement watch with chronograph feature is classic beauty. No major changes have been made since its rework, I feel it looks sportier than the original version, which is a good change, a vintage look reminiscent of the old Panerai models along with a bit of modern touches.
The PAM00392 is the Limited Edition of Panerai Luminor Marina, with a polished finish, a distinctively looking black dial along with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. This timepiece overall has a very smooth and elegant design.
One of my personal favourite among the Panerai models, this brown and rugged looking timepiece nicknamed “Black Seal” was in fact a name used to describe the slow-speed torpedoes used by Italian Navy. With a power reserve of 72 hours, this awesome looking timepiece is very resistant and light too as it is built by the highest quality materials.
What I like most is its uncomplicated design overall and the linear power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock of the watch, with a power reserve of 10 days, you can be sure this watch keeps time well. It’s an automatic mechanical that uses P.2003 movement, if you would like to know more about its movement, check it out here.
Finally a steel metal bracelet Panerai, the PAM00297 Panerai Luminor is actually an updated version of one of the legendary models that were supplied to the Royal Italian Navy. The cool part of this watch is that the GMT function lets you read 2 different time zone at the same time with a separate hand on the dial.
